Der Morose-Nacktkiemer kommt im ganzen Indo-Pazific vor, doch nicht überall mit der gleichen blau-schwarzen Färbung. Zwischen Australien und Neu Seeland existiert auch eine grün-schwarze Variante.
This nudibranch appears everywhere in the indo-pacific. Its remarkable electric blue colour (as seen in the pictures here) however it is not the only colour variation. In between Australia and New Zealand a green-black variation can be found.
